In March 2023, we visited our home town Madhubani during Holi festival and while we were figuring out some good Madhubani Painting artists, got an opportunity to meet Padma Shri Dulari Devi and her family at her residence in Ranti. As we talked to her in length and met her family, we had a memorable lifelong experience.She is a true example of a person who has beaten all odds in her life to follow her dream and become one of the renowned artist in the country.Sharing some of her details here. About Padma Shri Dulari Devi Ms. Dulari Devi, who was born in the year 1968 in Madhubani district (Bihar, India) is a prominent artist in the Mithila region. She received the Padma Shri award, a civilian honour granted by the Indian government, in the year 2021 for her contributions to art.
